Mark Rahner is the creator of Rotten (published by Moonstone), the acclaimed Zombie-Western co-written by Robert Horton and illustrated by Dan Dougherty. His other comic work includes Cthulhu Tales and Galveston from Boom! Studios and Ed Brubaker's Criminal from Icon/Marvel.

Rahner is also a veteran journalist who worked on the Seattle Times team that won the 2010 Pulitzer for breaking news.
